Spaghetti Sauce Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground sausage
1 1/2 tbsp Great Lakes Olive Oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 container of baby bella mushrooms, sliced
1 medium onion
14 oz can diced tomatoes
12 oz can tomato paste
2 cups water
1 tbsp fresh parsley
1/2 tsp ground pepper
1/2 tsp fresh oregano
2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
Directions
1. Brown meat and onion in olive oil. Add mushrooms, garlic, herbs and spices and cook for another minute.
2. Add diced tomatoes and tomato paste, then add water.
3. Simmer on low for at least 4-5 hours or until water has cooked out and sauce is nice and thick.
